My name is Jude Ballstaedt, I am a student athlete at Southern Virginia University. Many students at SVU come to school from out of state, I noticed how often parents would come out and visit their students whether to watch their sporting events, to be in town for the holidays, or watch graduation. I soon realized how many nightly rental situations are in the area.
Eventually that realization, along with a class project in a marketing class, gave me the idea to provide a service for travelers to Rockbridge County, VA. A site where visitors can find local rentals and experiences in the area.
Virginia Military Institute and Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA basically share campuses. Southern Virginia University is fifteen minutes down the road. All within the boundaries of Rockbridge County.
My hope is that this service showcases the appropriate rentals for and the wide variety of experiences someone can have as the visit Rockbridge County.
